FTD accuses ProFlowers of false advertising

In its lawsuit, FTD charges that ProFlowers doesn't "ship its flowers 'direct from the fields' or 'cut flowers from a field on day one and have them in consumers' hands on day two or three'" as advertised. If FTD wins the suit, it wants ProFlowers to make amends by acknowledging the misleading information via a print campaign and compensating the company for unfair competition.
