Grouper founder explains why Sony bought his video site

Why would Sony Corp. pay $65 million for a second-tier, Web-based video site that launched just nine months ago? David Samuel, Grouper co-president and co-founder, told the Deal's VC Ratings blog that much of the appeal of his site is its use of a peer-to-peer network.
