LinkedIn wants to go Hollywood

Business-oriented site LinkedIn.com is trying to boost its profile among rival social networks by marketing its services to entertainment professionals, including independent filmmakers and members of both the Screen Actors Guild and the Writers Guild of America. "Because so many people are looking for work, entertainment is an area that's ripe for people to be ambitious and entrepreneurial," said Rob Getzschman, LinkedIn's entertainment market manager.
