Facebook aids in search for missing man

When David Gimelfarb, a Chicago doctoral student, went missing in the remote forests of Costa Rica, his friends started a Facebook page to support searching for him. In less than two weeks, 1,100 people have donated money or pressured U.S. officials to get involved in the search. Military helicopters have been sent to search for him in the densely forested region.
