FDA approves Zoll Medical's wearable defibrillator

The FDA has approved a new model of Zoll Medical's LifeVest wearable defibrillator designed to monitor the condition of patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest. "With the FDA approval of this additional LifeVest model, we are increasing inventory levels to provide improved customer service to support our continued growth," said Richard A. Packer, the company's chairman and CEO.
