Massachusetts lawmakers are considering whether to allow slot machines and casino gambling in the state. Meanwhile, groups that support gambling are pushing them to change the state's gambling rules. In the first half of this year, pro-gambling groups spent $777,983 on lobbying efforts, according to a recent review of lobbying records.
