After a strong July, global traffic growth may flatten out

International air traffic saw a 9.2% increase in July, but a global trade group says the pace of growth is likely to slow as weak economic recovery in Europe and North America keeps a lid on demand. Still, the group maintains that airlines as a group will see 2010 profits of $2.5 billion, compared to losses of nearly $10 billion last year.
