Educators can track pupil progress with new online tool

A new online tool is designed to help teachers monitor student progress toward classroom and state goals. The program, by Benchmark Grading, allows teachers to set up a free online grade book to record comments and student grades, which can be measured against state standards in Washington and Oregon. California, Idaho, and Alaska standards will be added next. The site also allows teachers to communicate progress and grades with parents.
