Digital advertising resumes healthy growth rate, WPP says

Ad giant WPP said income from direct, digital and interactive advertising is increasing. In its six-month earnings report, WPP said direct and digital advertising accounted for $2.1 billion, or 28.1%, of its revenue. China, a major growth area, and the Internet "regained their strategic importance and inexorable growth, at least for the moment," the agency said.
