Ropes course provides new kind of gym for students

Holliston, Mass., school district teachers got to try an outdoor fitness course that wellness director Sue Bradbury plans to use with ninth- and 10th-graders for challenges that involve teamwork and problem-solving. Bradbury says students who are turned off by traditional gym class will like the outdoor course, which has 30-foot poles connected to cables and ropes.
