The U.S. government faces a clear choice on whether to approve TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline, said Robert Jones, vice president of TransCanada's energy and pipeline division. This comes as the State Department nears the release of a key environmental study for the project, which could affect its prospects. "The U.S. has a decision to make. Do they want to import oil from Canada or get conflict oil from OPEC nations?" Jones asked.
