2,300 truckloads of concrete used for Marriott’s Grand Chateau in Las Vegas

Marriott’s 37-story Grand Chateau on the Las Vegas Strip has topped out. The project used "2,300 truckloads of concrete, 210 miles of electrical wiring and 3.5 million pounds of reinforcing steel" to build the tower. Upon completing the foundation and three-story parking deck, concrete crews turned their attention to placement of the villa floors "at a rate of one floor per week."
