Creating a powerful startup pitch

If you have the opportunity to pitch your startup idea in front of an audience, you should create a well-designed presentation and include a clear call to action, writes Neil Thanedar, CEO and founder of LabDoor. "Don't be the company that ends their pitch by saying 'please come talk to us after the event,'" he cautions. "Challenge the audience to do something." Also, practice your technique ahead of time and prepare for any potential mishaps, he writes.
