Major League Baseball's digital unit takes a swing at nonsports events

MLB Advanced Media, Major League Baseball's digital media unit, is expanding its footprint to include licensing content from non-sports events. The unit's first big event will the Global Citizen Festival concert next month in New York's Central Park. "We want to gain experience selling worldwide rights," said MLB Advanced Media CEO Bob Bowman.
