Major marketers take wait-and-see approach with Al Jazeera America

Al Jazeera America since its launch this past week has featured only a handful of national sponsors, including Gillette and ThermoSpas. One media buyer said its clients are trying to get a sense of the fledgling news network approach before committing to a buy. "Many clients are not aware of what kind of news organization it is internationally, so right now it is about education," the buyer said.
