Partnership to help boost skilled workers in Ala. county

A variety of education stakeholders in Walker County, Ala., are working together to launch a workforce-readiness initiative that would train students for jobs in industrial maintenance careers, such as welders, machinists and electricians. Members of the partnership recently visited a similar program to learn more about best practices.
