Work to begin on $800M intermodal facility at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago

Construction is slated to begin on the O'Hare International Airport's $800 million transit hub. The multilevel facility will have 2,000 spaces for public parking, 4,100 slots for rental company vehicles and a bus plaza. It will extend the airport's people mover system. The project, which is part of the $8 billion O'Hare Modernization Project, is expected to generate 3,000 design and construction jobs.
