Dutch firm plans to build flotilla-like concrete-and-glass villas

Dutch Docklands, a Dutch development group, has unveiled plans to develop Amillarah Private Islands, a flotilla-like complex of concrete-and-glass villas to be moored in Florida's Maule Lake. The project involves building 29 luxury concrete-and-glass villas atop their personal 10,000-square-foot concrete and Styrofoam islands, according to this report. The villas would be off the grid and use solar power.
