State AGs ask EPA to revoke carbon rule on coal plants

The Environmental Protection Agency should withdraw its carbon proposal for power plants because it illegally excluded technical data to support the rule, the attorneys general from 13 states said in a letter to the agency. "Finalizing a rule without providing parties with the technical information necessary for meaningful comment renders the final rule unlawful," wrote the attorneys from major coal states.
