Why more women are needed at the top of the supply chain

Women hold only one in 20 top supply chain jobs at the nation's largest companies, according to research from SCM World. That's a problem because supply chain jobs can provide women with valuable experience, according to Beth Ford, Land O'Lakes' executive vice president and chief supply chain and operations officer. "This field has transformed. It is a critical role in the C-suite of any business," she said.
