Chicago Proposes Changing Building Codes

One of the proposed revisions to the city's codes would be to require residential developers to make housing more accessible to the disabled, a report says. Regulations already require such features in new residential high-rises but don't apply to single-family units or town house developments. Costs of the changes are a concern for developers.
