OMB Halts $1 Billion In Tech Spending

More than $1 billion earmarked for high tech spending by the 22 agencies that will constitute the Department of Homeland Security has been frozen by the Office of Management and Budget, a report says. Although contractors say they are worried, the OMB assures this is only a temporary freeze.
