Brazil losing grip on namesake nut

Last year, Bolivia became the world's leader in Brazilian nut exports, the result of a Bolivian government effort to convert farmers from coca to nuts. The president of the Brazilian Association of Nut Growers says Bolivian farmers enjoy exemptions that leave the Brazilians at a disadvantage, and there are also concerns the Mutran family dominates nut production in Brazil -- an accusation they say is unfair.
