Town turns to rubber product to give sports field new bounce

Public works officials in Windsor, Conn., are turning to a rubber-based product to help improve the playing surface of a local high school's soccer, football and lacrosse field. A patented, soil-amendment product called Rebound, which uses millions of tiny slivers of rubber tires, is being mixed with the topsoil of the field with the help of the firm E=MC Project Management.
