Marketers are doing more than just advertising in this year's MTV Music Video Awards; Virgin Mobile, General Motors' Saturn brand and others are hosting events and will take their message to the channel's broadband video channel, MTV Overdrive. Pepsico brand Pepsi will break a 30-second spot from Omnicom Group agency Spike DDB starring Kanye West.
