In new deal, "South Park" creators share in ad revenue

Viacom has extended its deal with "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker through 2011 with a new contract that involves the creation of a joint venture to put the cartoons and related material online in which Stone and Parker earn a cut of advertising revenues. The deal is unusual in that networks, in general, have long been reluctant to share advertising revenue with content creators.
