India's retail boom slow to materialize

India's retail market is beginning to close its doors, forcing companies such as Wal-Mart and Build-A-Bear Workshop to rethink their expansion ideas. Wal-Mart is set to open its first wholesale store in India next year, but it won't comment on building future stores. Rising costs and fewer buyers are being blamed for the slowdown.
