Researchers trying to bring sign language to mobiles

Researchers at the University of Washington are developing video software for mobile phones that will allow deaf people to communicate via sign language. They say that new, cutting-edge cell networks are helping to overcome the problem of low data transmission, a chief hurdle in bringing sign language to cell phones in the past.
