Artificial trees could ease climate change, scientists say

Artificial trees that collect carbon dioxide and convert it into a form that can be stored could eventually help reduce the effects of global warming, according to the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Synthetic trees are 1,000 times more effective at removing carbon dioxide than real trees, researchers said.
