Brigham strikes drilling deal with U.S. Energy for Bakken properties

Brigham Exploration plans to boost operations at some of its assets in the Bakken Shale via a drilling-participation deal with U.S. Energy. The contract covers spacing units in North Dakota's McKenzie and Williams counties, where Brigham owns 100,300 net acres. The firm would keep 35% of its working interest in each unit, and U.S. Energy would control the rest.
