Idaho airport gets updated EDS scanner

Friedman Memorial Airport in Idaho unveiled its new explosives detection system on Monday, only the second airport in the state to use the latest model from Reveal Imaging Technologies. The $350,000 machine can scan approximately 120 pieces of luggage per hour, and its 100% operational track record reduces the need for hand checks by TSA personnel.
