Kraft CEO Irene Rosenfeld says the key to her success was reorganizing the company early in her tenure: replacing half of upper management, making deep structural changes and creating reliable measures of success. Rosenfeld says she accomplished these sweeping changes by being a "servant leader," emphasizing the health of the company over her own preferences. "Once you recognize that, you are able to engage the hearts and minds of your followers, and they are able to just deliver the kind of results that you are looking for," she says.
