Ontario union chief pushes for hiring of more certified teachers

The new head of Ontario's teachers union says he is "collaborative, inclusive and personable -- with all education stakeholders." Sam Hammond, a former gym teacher, says a priority in the coming months will be to convince officials to hire only certified teachers with university degrees instead of lower-paid educators with community college degrees.
