Study: DVR users are not multitaskers

According to the Council for Research Excellence's Video Consumer Mapping Study, 59% of viewers who are watching shows using a digital video recorder are doing that and nothing else, which, ironically enough, is seen as a big opportunity for advertisers. Steve Sternberg, a veteran TV research and a member of the Council, said that "clearly, there are fewer distractions competing for attention when viewers are watching TV via DVRs."
