Chicago zoo's primate specialist is on a mission to save chimps

Lincoln Park Zoo primatologist Steve Ross is on a mission to assess the living conditions of every chimpanzee in North America that is being kept as a pet. His efforts under Project ChimpCARE already have resulted in the relocation of several chimps from private homes and animal-talent businesses to sanctuaries and zoos.
