GOP runoff for Okla. insurance commissioner yields low voter turnout

Data from the Oklahoma Election Board show 119,864 voters participated in the GOP runoff election for state insurance commissioner on Tuesday, with 14.5% of registered voters showing up at the polls. The Republican runoff was the only statewide race on the ballot. "I would not describe that as good turnout, but I would say for a runoff that's not too bad," said state Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax.
