Hotels bag air travelers with new fee-pay promotion

Several U.S. hotel chains are cashing in on airline checked-bag fees by offering to pay the fees for travelers who choose to stay with them. "Paying for checked-bag fees to generate room nights is much less expensive than the premiums hotels are paying to entice business," said Peter Yesawich, a consultant with Ypartnership.
