Indiana exhibit gives historical perspective on veterinary medicine

A collection of veterinary tools on display at the Putnam County Museum in Indiana provides a historical view about the veterinary profession for more than six decades. Beyond the exhibit, however, the veterinary medicine field has a much longer history. The field has evolved from one that is predominantly male and largely focused on small animal care to one that is increasingly diverse and now dominated by women.
