Pennsylvania program to target C. diff infections

A $100,000 grant from the stimulus plan will allow the continuation of a collaborative effort to reduce health care-associated Clostridium difficile infections in southeastern Pennsylvania. The initiative will encourage the adoption of evidence-based infection prevention strategies and aims to achieve a 30% reduction in C. diff infections at participating hospitals and other facilities.
