Poor security contributes to an uptick in cybercrime at small companies

Cybercrime at small businesses has increased because of poor security practices, according to a report by Panda Security. A survey by the makers of Panda Antivirus Pro 2011 showed that 36% of small businesses use free security software designed for home use instead of something more appropriate for their purposes.
