Energy company will test effect of nano-carbon on concrete strength

Eden Energy says it has discovered a way to cut the cost and production time needed to produce nano-carbon products from natural gas. The company expects that carbon nanofibers will be used to fill tiny cracks in concrete mixtures, resulting in a more durable product. Eden Energy's U.S.-based Hythane Company expects to complete testing on the strength of concrete mixtures in 2012.
