Energy company will test effect of nanocarbon on concrete strength

Eden Energy says it has discovered a way to cut the cost and production time needed to produce nanocarbon products from natural gas. The company expects that carbon nanofibers will be used to fill tiny cracks in concrete mixtures, resulting in a more durable product. Eden Energy's U.S.-based Hythane Company expects to complete testing on the strength of concrete mixtures in 2012.
