NASA launches Twitter account for robot astronaut

A humanoid robot called Robonaut 2 is now in use aboard the International Space Station and has begun firing off tweets about its experiences. The android, which has a human torso, arms and head but so far lacks legs, has built up a sizable following by tweeting about pre-flight preparations, and even live-tweeted its takeoff and flight into orbit.
