Stop being one of the 47% of small businesses staying away from social media

Only 12% of small businesses see social media as a "must" for promoting their business, according to a survey from Hiscox, which also found 47% don't use social media at all. Respondents said they don't have the education or the time needed to invest in social media. But making time for social media can give businesses a powerful "word of mouth" platform to promote their business, writes Lisa Barone, who offers tips on how to do just that.
