Guidelines recommend bone health advice for teen girls

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists released its osteoporosis guidelines on Tuesday, recommending that teen girls get advice on bone health and lifestyle factors that may raise their risk of fractures or osteoporosis. The group also issued recommended daily allowance for calcium and vitamin D for women at various ages. The guidelines were published in the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology.
