AEC's Coleman defends cellulosic ethanol blending requirement

The Environmental Protection Agency's decision to cut cellulosic ethanol blending requirements this year has drawn criticism of the biofuel from some quarters. Brooke Coleman, executive director of the Advanced Ethanol Council, said the oil industry has spread uncertainty about the biofuel and tried to hinder its market access. "Basically we can have the best technology in the world and the oil companies still won't buy our stuff," Coleman said.
