Brian Salerno is sworn in as BSEE director

Former U.S. Coast Guard Vice Admiral Brian Salerno formally replaced James Watson as director of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement on Monday. Salerno served 36 years in the Coast Guard and was part of its response to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as the BSEE director and work alongside you in your efforts to ensure safe, secure, and environmentally sound offshore operations," Salerno said.
