How millennial employees view the world of work

Millennial employees tend to value flexible working arrangements, and they want to do work that has a positive social impact, writes Kate Taylor. In fact, 45% of millennials will choose workplace flexibility over pay, a recent report found. "Millennials increasingly require some aspect of personal fulfillment from their jobs, and are willing to walk if they do not find it," she writes. Attitudes about work among millennial employees have also been influenced by the country's difficult economic climate in recent years, she notes.
