Japanese stimulus is delivering results, Kuroda says

Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said the central bank's policies to end deflation and push inflation up to 2% are benefiting the economy and financial markets. "The bank's [policy] has already started to exert its intended effects," Kuroda said at the Federal Reserve's yearly conference in Jackson Hole, Wyo. The BoJ has driven up stock prices while keeping a lid on bond yields, he said.
