KU alum, inventor gives $1 million for nursing professorship

University of Kansas alum and former faculty member Gene Feaster, inventor of a gel used in radiology clinics, has donated $2 million to the school. Feaster wants $1 million to go toward creating the Ida Johnson Feaster Professorship at the School of Nursing in honor of his late wife and the other $1 million for endowed scholarships in nursing and in physics and astronomy.
